For smaller ornaments and accents like garden spheres, you can use a jointing or adhesive compound to keep it in place. Larger water features, such as fountains, may require more substantial anchoring methods, such as securing them with concrete footings or using ground stakes to stabilise them in the soil.
Cleaning natural stone garden ornaments is relatively simple and requires minimal maintenance. Start by removing any loose debris or dirt with a soft-bristled brush or gentle stream of water. Then use a specialised natural stone cleaning solution to gently remove tough stains. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that can damage the stone’s surface. Rinse the ornament thoroughly with clean water and allow it to dry completely before returning it to its place in the garden.
The placement of a water feature in your garden depends on the size and style of the feature, the layout of your garden, and your desired aesthetic and functional goals.
